Repair before replacement when it makes sense
A repair recommendation should reflect the condition of the equipment, the failed component, system performance, and the practical cost of the next step. Replacement is discussed when repair is not a sensible option—not as the automatic answer.
After the immediate repair
If you want a broader view of system performance, add the optional $100 comprehensive evaluation after emergency service. It is separate from the repair and only includes diagnostics appropriate to the equipment and conditions.
